User Experience / User Interface Design
The firm positions UX before UI, emphasizing research-based experience over aesthetics alone. The approach involves early user, client, and stakeholder engagements with users treated as invaluable members of the organization's ecosystem. Research occurs with minimal user disruption, focusing on collaborative discovery of user needs.
User Experience/User Interface (UX/UI) is a newer field of practice based on an age-old business principle: The customer is always right. Our job is to identify the ways we can help you achieve your objectives. We look to provide options that are supported by real user data, so decisions are made in alignment with the organization's vision and values. In this way, the engagement may start as part of a transaction and it grows into a partnership.
You may be wondering why we define our practice as UX/UI instead of UI/UX, especially if you are already familiar with the latter. It is just one sign of Nebustream's conscious commitment to research-based user experience above slick designs and prototypes that sell well, look great, and have no connection to your real users. UX is always important and it begins in the earliest stages of any project whenever possible. Even during planning stages, UX/UI can begin early user, client, and stakeholder engagements to establish those relationships and minimize project delays. With some creativity, early and ongoing research can be done with minimal impact to the users. We invite users into a collaborative experience that focuses on what they want and need and why. They are valued not just for their interaction with the system, but as invaluable members of the organization's eco system.
